Funds for 2000 trees and shrubs to be planted by community groups Spring/Summer 2021 in the York and Durham regions. An additional 250 trees to be distributed to residents in York Region through the LEAF Backyard Tree Program. Last year, LEAF planted 1,500 trees with professional contractors and small groups of volunteers and led tree tours in Toronto and York to build awareness of local tree canopies.
